[PowerStore]ブロック最適化構成、FCポート使用の構成について

PowerStoreにて、初期設定時のストレージの構成をデフォルトのUnifiledからブロック最適化構成にし、ホストとの接続にはFibre Channel接続のみ(IOモジュール上のFCポートのみ利用)の場合、PowerStoreとして物理的にケーブルを接続するのは、

・Management Port
・IO Module上のFC Port
のみで使用可能でしょうか。

→ Block Optimizedであればkeis3456さんの構成で問題ないと思います。ただ後述するいくつかのドキュメントでの記載内容にばらつきがあるため（＊部分）、Keis3456さんの構成（アプライアンスの個数など）が決まったら導入前に念のためお近くのデルテクノロジとの確認がベストだと思います。

以下が根拠になります。

最初の設定時に必要なのは管理ネットワークでありPowerStoreがDiscoveryされればFC接続はできること（Page11 ）
ネットワーキングガイドにToRを使わなくても構成可能である旨の一文があること（Page92 ）
＊しかしPage 9表にはiSCSI使用の場合はToRが必要と記載があること。

Initial deployment of PowerStore T model requires you to configure the Management switch and network.Once the Management switch is configured and connected to the PowerStore T model nodes, you will discover the PowerStoreT model appliance and configure the networks in the PowerStore Manager Initial Configuration Wizard.
After you have completed initial deployment, PowerStore T model will be configured to support Fibre Channel Connectivity.

If you want to support services such as iSCSI or NVMe/TCP host connectivity, replication, import, clustering or NetworkAttached Storage (NAS) you will need to perform additional configuration steps as described in Part 2: Add Storage Services.

PowerStoreのToRスイッチについて  (2020年）
PowerStore T model: Configuring networksfor Block-optimized (FC-only) with no ToR switches」セクションの構成になると考えられるので、ToRスイッチは必要ありません。

‎PowerStore 1000T iSCSI接続時の使用ポートについて（2022年）
最近になって社内のTeamsコミュニティで、PowerStore TモデルでもiSCSIだけの利用であればToRスイッチが不要という話が出てきています。
ドキュメントやKBへの記載がないので現時点だと当該構成を取る場合にはRPQが必要になることが考えらえますが、必要に応じてDell Technologiesの担当者にご確認頂ければと思います。

上記からBlock　OptimizedであればMezz カード、システムボンドの使用は必要ないなく、Keisさんのご希望の構成が可能だと判断しました。

なお、Techガイド（閲覧権限ありのKBですがタイトルだけ記載します。Dell EMC Knowledge Article 000021511 :  VNX/Celerra/Dell EMC Unity/PowerStore: Downloading the latest PowerStore, Unity, VNX, or Celerra Tech Guides (Dell EMC Correctable)）最新版には以下の記載があったのでOE3.0 以降ならシステムボンドの使用はいらないです。

--OS 3.0 allows for single appliance redirection of all ICD traffic over the backplane node interconnects (PowerStore T)
Note:  Prior to this change, all ICD traffic between Nodes was routed over the ToR switch and Mezz 0 Ports 0 & 1.  
--System Bond is no longer required, on single appliance clusters, to support iSCSI, replication, import, or NAS
